What documents are required to open an account?

  • Passport of the Republic of Lithuania.
  • Identity card of the citizen of the Republic of Lithuania.
  • Permit for temporary or permanent residence in the Republic of Lithuania.
  • Certificate issued to a citizen of a European Union member state regarding their right to reside in the Republic of Lithuania, in accordance with Article 99, Part 1 of the Law on the Legal Status of Foreigners of the Republic of Lithuania. Note: In this case, the person must also present an identity document issued by a European Union member state – an identity card or passport.

The bank reserves the right not to open an account if not all documents required for the decision to open an account are submitted and/or if the documents do not meet the requirements set by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania or the bank’s internal regulations.
