Citadele SMS bank usage instructions

If you sign an SMS bank contract in Online bank, you must activate it by sending an SMS with a text message: ON XXXX to +371 29 300 300. XXXX is the 4-digit activation code that is specified in your contract.

When SMS bank is activated, you can do changes in settings of SMS bank in Online bank  by indicating:

  • For which payments (outgoing and / or incoming) you want to receive messages.
  • For what amount.
  • If you wish to send requests about the account balance/ available balance.

If you wish that messages about transactions always include the balance in account/card.

BAL
Balance in all registered customer accounts.
BAL XXXXXX
Balance in accounts whose number contains digits XXXXXX. Example: BAL 123456
BAL ACCOUNT_NUMBER CURRENCY
Balance in specific account and specific currency. Example: BAL LT1572900001111111111 EUR
CARDBAL
Available balance in all cards.
CARBAL CARD_NUMBER
Available balance in a specific card, by indicating full card number or the last 4 card number digits. Example: CARDBAL 6789
OFF
Turn off SMS bank for a time period.
OFF XXXXXX
For a time period close SMS bank to those accounts whose number contains digits XXXXXX. Example: OFF 121001
INFO or IReceive contact information of Citadele bank.
